Head-rest for a vehicle seat and its corresponding manufacturing method

The method involves introducing a plate (9) in a cap by housing a part of a U-shaped fixed element (10) of the plate in a cover of the cap, and a part of a movable element (11) of the plate in a U-shaped tubular excrescence of the cap. The assembly of the plate and the cap is arranged in a mold with geometry corresponding to the geometry of the cap. The precursor mixture of flexible foam is injected in the cap, and a headrest of a seat of a motor vehicle is removed from the mold after the expansion of the foam in the cover and the excrescence. An independent claim is also included for a headrest comprising a cap and a plate.
