"textContent": "The method involves testing brake parameters of an aircraft (30) to determine whether the aircraft is in a braking situation for which electrically actuated friction brakes (2) are not necessary for assuring required braking of wheels (1) of the aircraft, at the time of brake request. The required braking of the wheels is carried out by permitting the actuation of auxiliary brakes (3) i.e. electromagnetic brakes, when the aircraft rests in the braking situation, while actuating only the friction brakes if the aircraft leaves the braking situation. The brake parameters are chosen from a group comprising required braking torque, temperature of auxiliary brakes and signal indicating rapid and firm support of brake pedals. An independent claim is also included for an aircraft braking system comprising a determination unit.",
