Arrangement for the transport of wind turbine components

The invention relates to a system for the transportation of wind turbine components with a vehicle, especially for the transportation of large wind turbine components. According to the invention the vehicle comprises at least two wheelsets (6,7), a first end frame (1) connected to a first wheelset (6) and a second end frame (3) connected to a second wheelset (7). The vehicle comprises further a support structure (2) for carrying at least one wind turbine component (5), wherein said support structure (2) is adapted to be detachably connected to the first end frame (1) and/or to the second end frame (3). Thereby, the wind turbine component (5) is connected solely to the support structure (2) in a fixed but detachable manner.
