Roof header for a convertible vehicle

The roof head has a middle part that extends a hood frame between lateral frame parts in vehicle transverse direction (y). The middle part is shortened appropriately in condition for windshield frame (5), where the condition for the windshield frame is connected with the frame parts. The middle part is prefabricated in vehicle longitudinal direction (x) with an excess length. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a roof head for a convertible vehicle.
