AUTOMOBILE ROOF STRUCTURE

A sun shade device (40) is positioned on an inner surface of a panorama roof panel (14). The sun shade device (40) includes a sheet-shaped shade member (42b) that can be pulled out and retracted in back and forth directions of a vehicle, and a shade cover member (46) that can cover the wound shade member (42b). The shade cover member (46) is made of an elongated rigid body and is laterally bridged in right and left directions of the vehicle along a winding axis (52b) of the shade member (42b). The shade cover member is secured to a vehicle main body (20) at both ends thereof.
