The front assembly has fixation and support plates (20) equipped at front ends of upper girders (12) and lower girders (16) and connected together by a metal cross-piece (21) that extends opposite to the upper girders. A front bumper shield (8) comprises a monoblock frame (22) that is made of plastic material. Two posts (28) connect an upper bumper beam (24) with a lower bumper beam (26), and are formed to act as shock absorbers. The two posts are directly supported against the plates. The upper bumper beam extends above the metal cross-piece and the plates.
