The profile has tread block elements (11,12) provided in axial direction of vehicle pneumatic tire. An additional narrow groove (17) is formed along an entire extension of a tread groove (7) in a groove bottom (10) and comprises a groove depth measured in a radial direction. The narrow groove extends from a transverse or slant groove (5) up to another transverse or slant groove by the tread groove extending from the groove wall (8), which limits one of the tread block elements, up to another groove wall (9), which limits another tread block element, of the tread groove.
