The fuel injection valve comprises an injection nozzle which has a nozzle cap with a nozzle discharge opening for the fuel. The nozzle cap comprises a coating (46) in contact with a surface (48) of a valve component, particularly a hydraulic coupling element (36). The non-adhesive effect of the coating, is provided by metal soap or polymers or methyl ester or glycerin or siloxane or fat oils. The coating comprises alcoholate or alkoxy silane or aluminum or titanium or zirconium oxide or hexagonal boron nitride.
