Rim of a spoke wheel, mounted assembly including said rim and method for assembling the same

The rim (1) has rim flanges (5, 6) and a rim base (2) covering an annular strip (10) that receives a tire and an inflation valve. The strip presents a central portion (12) receiving the rim base and two lateral portions (15, 16) emerging axially form the rim flanges. The lateral portions are amputated from a part of their axial width by detachment of two peripheral sections (15a, 16a) of the lateral portions, such that the strip extends from one of the edges to other edge of the detachment. The strip is made of elastomer material e.g. thermoplastic vulcanizate based material. An independent claim is also included for an assembling method for a mounted assembly.
