Vehicle combination comprising a tractor, a trailer with a sliding drawbar and an axial guiding device having a retractable pivoting arm

The assembly has a tractor vehicle (V) provided with a chassis (10), and a trailer (R) provided with a chassis (C). Wheels (40) are mounted on a central part (C1) of the chassis of the trailer. An axial guiding device has a receiver guiding unit mounted on the chassis of the tractor vehicle or the chassis of the trailer. The guiding unit has an active part constituted of a guiding profile. A projected active part i.e. guiding cylinder, of a guiding arm is penetrated into the guiding profile to realize active axial guiding of the trailer with respect to the tractor vehicle.
