Fuel distributor

The distributor (1) has a distribution pipe (2) for accommodating fuel under pressure and provided with branch boreholes. A branch pipe (6) is attached to the branch boreholes by a connecting adaptor (8) that is joined with the distribution pipe by an assembly flange (9). An end section of the branch pipe is joined with a connecting piece (10). The connecting adaptor is prefixed at the distribution pipe by resistance welding using a welding projection (17) at the flange and fixed by a fuel-sealed joining process. The connecting adaptor is designed as a single-piece deep-drawing part.
