Mirror head with overlapping field of view

The head has an adjustable main mirror (2) and an auxiliary mirror (4) that are directly arranged together or one above the other, where the mirrors are aspheric mirrors. The main mirror has a main mirror field of view while the auxiliary mirror comprises an auxiliary mirror field of view. An adjusting device adjusts the main mirror. The main mirror and the auxiliary mirror are rigidly connected together such that the main mirror field of view and the auxiliary mirror field of view are arranged adjacent together directly or overlap in a partial region.
