Braking system for motorcycle

A braking system (30) includes first and second braking force generating mechanisms (35) and (36), first and second operation members (18) and (13), a first association mechanism (22) which supplies hydraulic pressure to the second braking force generating mechanism (36) when the first operation member (18) is operated, and a control unit (28) which controls the first association mechanism (22) to detect an abnormal condition of the braking system (30). When the control unit (28) detects the abnormal condition of the braking system in a state where the first association mechanism (22) is driven, the control unit causes the first association mechanism (22) to gradually reduce hydraulic pressure supplied to the second braking force generating mechanism (36) substantially toward zero.
