The window assembly (1) comprises a main frame (4) delimiting a discharge opening (9) and closure means (14; 15) of the discharge opening (9). Such means is configurable according to a closed configuration, wherein it keeps the discharge opening (9) closed, and an open configuration, wherein it leaves the discharge opening (9) at least partially open. Moreover, the closure means (14; 15) are conformed such that it remains in the open configuration until at the discharge opening (9) a pressure difference persists above a predetermined pressure difference value between the internal (2) and the external (3) sides of the window assembly (1), and to move to the closed configuration following a decrease of such a pressure difference below the predetermined value.",
