Motor with an improved carburettor unit assembly

The engine (100) has a cylinder (12) comprising an intermediate flange (15) with a carrier bridge (15a) and extending along a piston running direction (13) from a crankcase side (12a) to a head end (12b). A holding device is provided for mechanical holding of a carburettor unit (10). An elastic element (14) of the holding device is provided between the carburettor unit and the cylinder, and the holding device is arranged above an inlet pipe (11) in a direction of the head end of the cylinder, such that a suspended arrangement of the carburettor unit on the cylinder is formed.
