Providing recommendations

A method for enabling a wireless device to provide recommendations, comprising: characterizing a current environment of a wireless device with a current context result; forming a context-activity pair by pairing the current context with a selected activity; causing searching of a database using the context-activity pair; and causing recommendations from the search to be provided for a user of the wireless device.
