Automated warehouse shuttle

An automated warehouse shuttle (1) has an upper surface (50) for supporting a load unit and a lifting assembly for lifting/lowering the upper surface (50); the shuttle (1) has a structure provided with a horizontal base wall (44), which inferiorly defines a compartment housing at least one battery pack (92); the battery pack (92) is releasably coupled to the structure, and the horizontal base wall has an opening that places the compartment in communication with the outside to remove and/or mount the battery pack (92) from below. The lifting assembly comprises a screw/nut combination, a cam and two levers. The warehouse also comprises a station to recharge the batteries that have been removed from a shuttle.
