The fuel filter (10) has a filter body pressed into a bore hole (2) of a fuel injection valve (1) and comprising through-openings, where fuel passes through the through-openings. The through-holes are arranged in a bottom portion of the filter body. The filter body has a clamping element in a radial outer region. The clamping element is arranged on a side of the filter body, where the side faces an insertion portion (3) of the fuel filter in the bore hole. The filter body is made of metal and formed as single-piece.
