Activation device for a parking brake

The device (1) has a hand brake lever (2) swivelably supported at a bearing support (3). The lever is fixed by a fixing device (9) in a predetermined swiveling position. The fixing device comprises a movably supported ratchet (10) and a locking segment (11). An actuating rod (7) is connected with the fixing device. The lever comprises a guidance (6) in which the actuating rod is movably supported. A joint connection is formed between the ratchet and the actuating rod, such that a segment of the ratchet is held between a stopper and a spring element (17) of the actuating rod.
