Exhaust gas or charged air heat exchanger
DRIVE
March 30, 2011
The exchanger has two ends (6, 7) with openings, and pipes (10) arranged as flow channels (12). An expansion gap is formed between the ends and a housing (3), in order to compare different extensions between the housing and the pipes. The housing is completely made of plastic and exhibits a housing pot (4) and a housing cover (5). The housing exhibits inlet and outlet openings (15, 16) for a fluid, and another inlet and outlet openings for another fluid. The pipes and the ends are completely made of metal i.e. aluminum and are connected with each other in a material fit manner by soldering. An independent claim is also included for an arrangement for recirculation and cooling of an exhaust gas of an internal combustion engine i.e. diesel engine.
