Device for adjusting a headrest

The adjusting device (2) has a base (3), a sliding body (4), and two guidance units, with those the sliding body is adjustably guided opposite to base in a shift direction in linear manner. The guidance units have a guide step (6), which is connected with one of the two units, bases or sliding bodies. An independent claim is also included for a head restraint arrangement.
