System and method for reducing energy consumption of a vehicle

The present invention relates to a system for reducing the energy consumption of a vehicle. The system comprises a memory for storing a set of user-preferred settings being adjustable by a user and a switch. The user-preferred settings control a plurality of functions in the vehicle, whereof at least one function is energy-demanding. Each of the user-preferred settings controls at least one of the functions. The set of user-preferred settings is applicable by means of the switch. The invention further relates to a method for reducing the energy consumption of a vehicle and a method for adjusting a setting, which controls a function in the vehicle.
