Method and device for managing information in an aircraft

The method involves acquiring information of equipments, and determining a context that corresponds to an instantiation of a predetermined hierarchical context model. Information are filtered based on a regulation for selecting one of the information, where the regulation is connected to the context and applicable to elements depending on a node of the hierarchical context model. Level of the elements in the model is less than that of the node. The selected information is restored on a restoration device.
