Method for operating a heating system of an electric vehicle

The heating system has an electric drive component, which is supplied by an electrical energy storage (13). An electrical heating element (6) is operated by a resistor. The heat produced by the heating element is transported in a passenger area of a vehicle. A cooling circuit (1) is coupled with a circulating cooling agent for supporting waste heat of the drive component thermally with a heat pumping element (4), particularly a Peltier-element. The heat of the heat pumping element is transported in the passenger range. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a heating system.
