Wind energy assembly with adjustable speed characteristics curve

The wind power plant comprises a wind rotor (12), and an asynchronous generator (14) that has a converter (15) and a control unit (2). A frequency-adaptive torque limiter is provided, which has a classifier for an over- or under frequencies, a moment slider, and an inhibitor, which blocks the moment slider with under frequency. An independent claim is also included for a method for operating a wind power plant.
