Method for operating and regulating a wind energy assembly and method for providing control power with wind energy assembly

Operating method for at least a wind turbine with a rotor and an electricity generator coupled to the rotor for output of electrical power to an energy distribution network. Power output is controlled with a control arrangement that ensures the turbine operates in its working range, whereby dependent on a change in a network operating parameter, the turbine is controlled so that it outputs more power to the network than would occur during its normal steady-state operation. An independent claim is made for a method for operating a wind turbine in which the turbine rotor is operated at a speed above its normal steady-state speed in order to supply, at least temporarily, extra power to an electricity distribution grid.
