The device (20) for pre-loading the capacitor, which have power electronic units for providing the adjustable pre-loading current, which is supplied from an auxiliary voltage network (H3). The power electronic units are connected over a pre-loading transformer (21) with the power converter bridge. An independent claim is also included for a method for starting the static converter.",
