"textContent": "A vehicle ECU (170) includes the steps of determining whether a potential of a pilot signal CPLT is higher than a prescribed reference value ±1 or not (S600) and determining whether an AC voltage VAC is higher than a prescribed reference value ±2 or not (S630). When the potential of the pilot signal CPLT is higher than the prescribed reference value ±1 (YES in S600), the vehicle ECU (170) selects a mode in which charging is performed by using the pilot signal CPLT (S610). On the other hand, when the potential of the pilot signal CPLT is not higher than the prescribed reference value ±1 (NO in S600) and when the AC voltage VAC is higher than the prescribed reference value ±2 (YES in S630), the vehicle ECU (170) selects a mode in which charging is performed without using the pilot signal CPLT (S640). Thus, a charging system for a vehicle in which a power storage device mounted thereon can be charged by a power supply outside the vehicle and charging can be performed regardless of whether a pilot signal from a charge cable is present or not is provided.",
