A contactless power supplying communication apparatus includes: a resonance element (13) adapted to supply alternating current power to one or more electronic apparatus (2) by resonance; an alternating current power supply section (11) adapted to generate alternating current power of a frequency in accordance with a resonance frequency of the resonance element (13) and supply the generated alternating current power to the resonance element (13); a communication section (14) adapted to carry out a communication process through the resonance element (13); and a switching section (15b) provided between the resonance element (13) and the communication section (14) and adapted to cut off connection between the resonance element (13) and the communication section (14) upon power supply but establish connection between the resonance element (13) and the communication section (14) upon communication.
