DRIVE
January 26, 2011
The bearing has a coupler (1) attached to a lower end (2) of the bearing and to a shifting part of a gear changing drive. The coupler has a bearing lug (4) in which a ball joint is assembled with a bearing housing (6). The housing has ball cages (10) assembled with a bearing ring (9) that is sealed by caps (7, 8). A bearing pin (11) is received in the ball cages with a ball head (12), and the ball joint is retained in the bearing lug between protecting rings using the caps. Each cap is coated with non-metallic elastic yielding material (15) on two sides.
