An in-vehicle input device (100) includes an LCD (111) that a user operates to input information, a capacitance sensor (112) that electrically detects an operation on the surface of the LCD (111), and a conducting member (120) positioned in the vicinity of the LCD (111) such that the member is come into contact with part of a hand of the user when the user operates the LCD (111). The conducting member (120) is electrically connected to system ground for the capacitance sensor (112).
