Lighting unit for vehicles

The unit (1) has light sources (L1-L4) i.e. LED light elements or LED chips, arranged at a distance to each other, and a reflector (R) attached to the light sources for generating preset light distribution. The reflector is formed in a segmented manner such that the light sources are attached to different reflector segments (R1-R4), respectively. Two light bundles (2, 3) radiated from two of the light sources are reflected by the reflector segments exclusive of two of the segments, respectively. The light sources are connected with a heat sink.
