The shock strut sliding bearing has plastic housings (21,22) that have a through hole for receiving a rod of a shock absorber. The housing is provided with an inner wall that defines the through hole and surrounds the rod. A cylindrical flange ring is provided in the housing, where the ring has a cylindrical cavity which is axially aligned to the through-hole, and a pressure cavity, which extends radially outward from the cylindrical cavity.
