Control device for industrial truck

The device has an operating element (8) i.e. joystick (13), arranged at an operating console i.e. arm rest, where a rotary encoder or a rotary resetting unit is utilized as the operating element. The operating element is fixed in an opening of a cover element (12). The operating element is mounted as a pre-mounting component (31) in the cover element. The operating element is utilized in a receiving opening (23) of the console. The operating element comprises folding bellows, whose upper end is held between the operating element and the cover element.
