METHOD FOR PRODUCING FLUORIDE

A method for producing a fluoride of the present disclosure includes firing a mixture including a titanium oxide, an aluminum oxide, a raw material fluoride having composition different from that of the fluoride to be produced, and a lithium-containing compound in an inert gas atmosphere. The titanium oxide includes TiO. The aluminum oxide includes AlO. The raw material fluoride includes NHF. The lithium-containing compound includes at least one selected from the group consisting of lithium fluoride, lithium carbonate, and lithium nitrate.
