DUAL LIQUEFIED PETROLEUM GAS VAPOR AND LIQUID INJECTION SYSTEM

A liquefied petroleum (LP) gas fuel system includes a fuel source to store a liquid LP gas and a fuel supply system to draw the liquid LP gas from the fuel source and selectively deliver a vapor LP gas and the liquid LP gas into a plurality of cylinders of an internal combustion engine. The fuel supply system includes liquid LP gas injectors, vapor LP gas injectors, a fuel pump to displace the liquid LP gas fuel from the fuel source to the liquid injectors, and a fuel pressure regulator to deliver the vapor LP gas to the vapor injectors. The fuel system includes a controller to actuate the fuel pressure regulator to deliver the vapor LP gas to the vapor injectors and actuate the fuel pump to deliver the liquid LP gas to the liquid injectors.
