The energy store is fastened to the floor of the body, wherein the floor has a central tunnel in which at least a partial region of an exhaust gas system for the motor vehicle runs. A respective storage device of the energy store is arranged on each side of the central tunnel and of the exhaust gas system in the transverse direction of the vehicle. The respective storage device of the energy store is fastened to the floor by means of at least one respective fixing device in such a manner that, as a result of an accident-induced application of force running in the transverse direction of the vehicle, the fastening of at least one of the storage devices is releasable in a targeted manner and the at least one storage device is thereby shiftable inwards in the transverse direction of the vehicle relative to the floor.",
