Vehicle roof system with sliding panels

The roof system (10) has two displaceable covers (12,14) for selective exposure of roof opening sections, whereby the roof module is configured so that the covers can be exchanged by displacing their positions. One cover can be moved over or under the other cover, whereby the moved cover exposes a roof opening section.
