A pneumatic tire includes a sidewall rubber 3G formed of a winding body 10 in which a rubber strip P is spirally wound in a circumferential direction of the tire. The winding body 10 includes an inner rubber layer 11 being formed by winding a rubber strip P spirally toward a tread from a bead while having a superposed portion of width Wi of 30 to 90% of a strip width Wg, and an outer rubber layer 12 being formed by winding the rubber strip spirally toward the bead from the tread while having a superposed portion of width Wo of 20% or less of the strip width Wg.
