Vehicle air conditioning system comprising a refrigerant recovery vessel

DRIVE June 7, 2006
Source
An air conditioning system for a vehicle including a vapor compression-type refrigerating cycle and using combustible refrigerant includes a refrigerant recovery vessel (8) in communication with a gas-liquid separator (7) and which of recovers the combustible refrigerant by the communication with the gas-liquid separator, and a valve (45) which controls the communication between the refrigerant recovery vessel (8) and the gas-liquid separator (7) in response to an external signal, thus leakage of the refrigerant may be reduced, minimized, or eliminated in case of an accident or a defect.
