DRIVE
June 7, 2006
The invention relates to a parking brake lever with an adjustable ratio. The inventive lever comprises: a lever arm (1) which terminates in a handle (2) on which an actuation force (F1) is applied, and a removable part (7) which forms a support means (3) for a flexible element (4) that is used to transmit a tensile force (F2) and which is linked to said lever arm (1) at one end thereof. Moreover, the lever arm (1) is articulated to a support of the vehicle such that it can rotate. The aforementioned support means (3) comprises a guide means (8) which is used to receive one portion of the flexible transmission element (4) and to maintain a controlled distance in each of the actuation positions of the lever arm (1). The removable part (7) can be replaced and is selected from among two or more parts having a guide means (8) that is designed to define a different ratio.
