Linear guide system with actuator

The system has two guide rail units (1, 2) operating against each other in a longitudinal direction, such that positioning units (11, 12) are provided at the guide rail units. The positioning units provides or retards force needed for operating the positioning units and permits clamping of the guide rail units in different operating positions. Spring units e.g. gas pressure spring units, are provided as the positioning units.
