According to one embodiment, a lighting device for vehicles includes a socket including a flange, and a mounting unit which is provided on one face of the flange; a light emitting unit which is provided at an end portion of the mounting unit on a side opposite to a side of the flange, and includes a light emitting element; and at least one support unit which protrudes from a face of the flange on which the mounting unit is provided.
