The front end for a private motor vehicle has at least one air inlet opening on the end section and air outlet channels in the body wall on both sides of a center longitudinal plane of the vehicle. The air outlet channels (13,14) of the body wall (5) bounded by the end section (6) of the front end have forward transverse limits (15,16) lying adjacent to the center longitudinal plane and from where the air outlet channels have characteristic curves (19,20) orientated in the direction of the windscreen pillars (7,8) and longitudinal sides (17,18) of the body (3). An independent claim is included for a body with a wall section (22) which has curve lines (25,26) which in sections define the air outlet channels by line sections (27,28).
