Apparatus for reduction of the pedal force

A pedal (1) is pivotably mounted to a pedal block (2) via a pivot point (6), and is directly connected within its length to the end of a piston rod (4) of a master cylinder (3). The piston rod is indirectly connected to the pedal in a form-fitting manner. The end of the piston rod is connected to a side plate (7) having at least one guide path (8a,b).
