The ring (10) also has an annular body (20) located radially inward of the crown (18), the annular body (20) comprising a grid of continuous reinforcement composite, wherein the grid is formed by ribs (22,24) intersecting at angles of 90 degrees, thus forming rectangular or square cells (26).
