Joint covering for aircraft
DRIVE
April 19, 2006
The cover for a gap (5) between a first (3) and a second (4) element in an aircraft has a cover section (2) to cover the gap, and a clamping element (6) for the fastening of the cover on a third element in such a way that the first and second elements are movable relative to one another. The first and second elements are interior components of an aircraft. The cover section consists of an elastic material and in the relaxed state has a curvature. After the assembly of the cover in the gap the cover section lies on the front side on the first and second element under tension. Independent claims are also included for the following: (A) a use for the gap cover which is in an aircraft; and (B) an aircraft equipped with the aforesaid gap cover.
