According to some examples, location data will be compared to known routeway data to detect a vehicle mode. In other examples acceleration data will be used to calculate the consistency of vehicular velocity during a trip to detect a vehicle mode. In some additional aspects, multiple analyses will be performed on the same data sets to check for false positives with vehicle mode detection.",
