Motor vehicle with a front roof panel

The motor vehicle has an opening front roof part (4) with a central section (6) in the vehicle transverse direction, whereby the roof section is joined (11) to essentially longitudinal supports (5) when the roof is closed. The supports can be displaced transversely inwards and to the rear at their rear ends, thereby pulling the roof section rearwards.
