Individual and width adjustable vehicle seat

The seat (1) has a control mechanism disposed within a carrier structure (6) and/or crosspieces (8a-8d) in order to control symmetric parts (2a, 2b, 3a, 3b) of a base (2) and a backrest (3), respectively, in symmetrical manner with respect to a plane of symmetry (P). Each part is constituted by a structure having a tube (9) permitting to guide the part with respect to corresponding crosspiece along axis perpendicular to the plane.
